Bargains at TK Maxx

I go out to buy a birthday present for my brother and THIS is what happens.

The Eco Collection bamboo exfoliating back polisher £2.99 (RRP £6.00)
Sia soy candle in Jasmine Vanilla (£2.99)
Occo Deep Forest body scrub £3.00 (RRP £.25.00 Was £6.99)
Ecolive laundry soap £1.99 (The newer stock are £2.99 though)

That's not all they had. I also saw:
  • Cowshed Bullocks/ Baby
  • Calmia
  • Other Occo products
  • Laidbare
  • Balance Me
  • Lots of Soy candles (I can't remember the brands)
  • Lots of brands I had never heard of before
  • Eco hair brushes
  • The Monty Bojangles natural confectionery
  • A bamboo, rice and lavender eye mask that can be heated or cooled

I filled up my basket with so many things then I forced myself to put everything back. I'll be definitely be going back for more though.

I remember seeing lots of Weleda products and bamboo body brushes a while ago. I hope they get more brands in, especially make up!

So if you're finding that buying natural and eco friendly bath and skincare products are out of your budget, get down to TK Maxx for some bargains.

A sneaky peek of Naked

Happy Friday Eden angels!

I was so excited to receive my order from Naked this morning. At 50% off, I went a little crazy as you can see. But at a massive discount, I see it as an investment for possibly a year's worth of essentials. I bought a Naked shampoo and conditioner a little while ago, which I'll review soon, and I wanted to try more of their products.

If you haven't heard about Naked before, it is a brand offering a range of different toiletries that are 97% natural. They are available at Boots and on their website as far as I'm aware.

I bought a bunch of stuff from their haircare, hairstyling, and body and bath ranges such as bath creams, hair conditioners, shampoos and a cleanser to name a few. I even picked up a few things from their Mama, Mini (baby) and Kids ranges (Whaddya mean I can't have toffee apple smelling hair??)

The products smell absolutely amazing! I especially can't stop sniffing the kids products. They smell like sweets and who wouldn't wanna smell like sweets all day?!

I'll probably need to take a few showers and baths before I can review all of these products but I'll definitely be trying some of these soon and post a review as soon as I can.

If you've missed out on this promotion, fear not! Boots tend to have offers on Naked quite often. At the moment it's 2 for £6 on selected Naked haircare as well as 3 for 2 on select baby products from various brands, which also includes the Naked Mama range.

Have you tried Naked? Do you have a favourite product?

Have a great weekend!

Wanna get Naked?

Because now you can get Naked hair products at a bargain price of 2 for £6. Choose from selected shampoos and conditioners and even mousse, hairspray, serum and hair protector.

Theis deal is only available at Boots.com but you can choose to have them delivered to your home for only £2.95 or collect them from your local store absolutely free.

I'm thinking of giving their shampoo a go. Urtekram rose shampoo is making my hair more disgusting every time I use it. I have actually had to go back to using Swarzkopf because my hair was just that awful.

Have you tried any of the Naked shampoos?

I might as well stock up on a few more products to take advantage of this deal. Maybe treat myself to some conditioner, hair mousse and hair protector. So that's only £12 for 4 products! See, going natural doesn't have to be expensive.

What do you think of the Naked range? Will you be giving them a go?

Great deals on healthy treats

Sainsbury's have Feel Good sparkling drinks for half price. So that's only £1.04 for 750ml.
These drinks are 100% natural and 80% fruit. So none of that nasty stuff you usually get in fizzy drinks.
I have tried the White Grape and Peach one so far and it's yum-may! Raspberry and Passionfruit is out of stock at my local Sainsbury's :'( so I'd have to look for it at another branch. I can't wait to try it.

Another deal is on Rachel's Organic Divine Rice - only £1! The great thing about this is that it actually contains real ingredients and none of that funky stuff you get in many tinned rice puddings. It contains two pots so you can take it to work or eat it on the go.

If you have a child then you might be interested in this assortement of Rachel's Organic My First Yogurt. Only £1.19 for 4 pots. If you don't have a child, then get it for yourself!

Happy snacking!

Big sale at Amarya!

I keep telling myslef that I'm going to stop spending but I couldn't help myself when I got an email from Amarya.co.uk informing me of their sale. I found some really good deals on Nvey organic cosmetics as well as some organic perfumes by Jo wood and Acorelle. So look out for some reviews on all of these.

If you want to make even more savings, I have found some discount codes for 20% or £5 off here. You can't use both codes so just use the one that will save you the most.

PLUS you get a free shampoo when you spend £50 AND there is free delivery and free gift wrapping with every order. Can you blame me for shopping there when their offers are so tempting?!

This month's Marie Claire (includes a freebie!)

I know, I don't normally read magazines let alone write about them. They tend to be too materialistic and their adverts can be offensive to someone like myself who knows how to disect an advert just by looking at it for a few seconds. And I really don't get all this 'celebrity' hype. This one's no different.

BUT there are quite a few things that I like about this particular issue (the one with Rihanna on the cover):
  • Free fashion bangle by ethical jeweller Made worth £11 (choose from 3 colours)
  • 25% discount on Made jewellery
  • Ethical gift ideas
  • Gardening gift ideas
  • Article on Toms giving away their millionth shoe to a child
  • Recipes full of healthy veggies
  • Beauty advice especially for black skin
  • Black model gracing the pages of their metallic make up feature
  • Worry rehab advice feature
So if you're thinking of getting one, try and get it soon before shoplifters steal the bangles out of the magazines. (I mean come on! Just because it says free it doesn't mean you can rip it out of the packet without paying for the magazine!)
